Will someone ever replace Mahendra Singh Dhoni?

MSD – the batsman, MSD – the wicket keeper, MSD – the captain, MSD – the cool and calm player, MSD – the strategist and a lot more adjectives can be used for this legend. It's easy to replace one thing, a bit difficult to replace two and a lot difficult to replace more than that. Sachin retired, India got Kohli; Dravid retired, India got Pujara but will India ever get a replacement for MSD?

MSD is an all in one package. The way he bats under pressure, the way he dislodges the bails in a flash, the way he stays calm in crunch situations, the way he analyses the situation, the way  thhe motivatese youngsters, the way he keeps the team together and the way he takes DRS is quite remarkable. To find all these qualities in a real quicktime is a lot difficult.

India might get a good batsman who can keep a bit or might get a good wicket keeper who can bat a bit or might get both at once. But they will still lack the other qualities mentioned above.

If we talk about the current Indian team, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant are the two players, who if supported by the team management and guided well can do great wonders for India in the future.
I won't say they'll replace MSD but they really have a great potential to fill that void which will be created when MS will leave. India will surely miss MSD - the all in one package a lot.
