Virat Kohli's 4 Centuries in a season or Chris Gayle's knock of 175* - Which record will be broken first?

Records are made to be broken. A lot of records are created or broken in almost every game across the globe. A lot of players have created a lot of records in the IPL as well.

One such record was created by Chris Gayle who scored 175* of 66 deliveries in an innings against Pune Warriors India in 2013 edition. One more record was created by Virat Kohli who scored 973 runs in a single edition of IPL in 2016 which included 4 centuries in that season. Now the question is, will these records be broken or which record will be broken first?

I personally believe that if a batsman has a good day, he can score a century in a T20 game or can score 130-140 runs if he has an even better day. But scoring 175 is a very big task. Also a batsman can score 1 century in a season if he has a good season or can score 2 centuries if he has an excellent season but scoring 4 centuries in a season is still a very big task.

Since I'm supposed to choose one of them, I feel Virat's record of 4 centuries in a season can still be broken if I compare it to Chris Gayle's record of 175 in an innings. Chris Gayle's record is still safe according to me and will not be broken that easily. Also someone will be required to play at a very different level to break Virat's record too because that is not that easy to be broken either.
